Decorating that makes your home feel new again

Staying put, and ready for a change? We refresh tired rooms, pull colour and fabrics together, plan layouts and add the finishing pieces. Where we can, we work with what you already own.

What we do

As much or as little help as you need

Start with one room or a single consultation, or pull the whole house together. Every project is shaped around your home, your style and your budget.

  • Room refreshes

A tired lounge, bedroom or study brought back to life, often with what you already own and a few new pieces.

  • Styling and accessories

Cushions, throws, art, mirrors, lamps and plants, chosen and placed so the room feels finished.

  • Colour and soft furnishings

Wall colours, curtains, rugs and fabrics that suit your light and sit well together from room to room.

  • Furniture layout

Furniture arranged so the room flows, with space to move, sit and gather comfortably.

  • Design consultations

A bit of design when you want it: we talk through your ideas, look at what isn't working and agree a clear direction.

  • Sourcing furniture, lighting and decor

Help finding pieces that fit the plan, the space and your budget.

The finishing layer

The details that make a room feel finished

Furniture gives a room its shape. The finishing layer gives it warmth and character: the things you notice once you sit down.

  • Textiles

Cushions, throws, rugs and curtains in linen, cotton and wool add softness and texture.

  • Lighting

Lamps at different heights and warm bulbs, so the room feels as good at night as it does by day.

  • Art and mirrors

Art hung at the right height, and mirrors placed to carry light deeper into the room.

  • Objects and greenery

A few well-chosen pieces, books and plants, with space around them to breathe.

Colour

Choosing colour with confidence

A colour that looks perfect on a chart can feel very different on your wall. So we choose it in your space, in your own light.

Before we suggest a palette, we look at:

  • How much daylight the room gets, and at what time of day
  • Which way it faces. In Durban, north-facing rooms get warm sun and south-facing rooms get cooler, softer light
  • What's staying: floors, tiles, curtains and furniture you want to keep
  • Sample patches on your own wall, seen morning and evening, before you commit

And because we paint too, the colours we choose together are the ones that end up on your walls.

How it works

From first idea to finished room

  1. Start with a chat

Tell us about the room, what isn't working and how you'd like it to feel. A few photos help.

  2. We visit

We see the space in person, check the light, measure up and note what you'd like to keep.

  3. Your plan

You get clear ideas for colour, layout and finishing pieces, with a quote before any work starts.

  4. Bringing it together

We arrange, style and help source what's needed, and paint if the walls call for it, until the room feels finished.

Questions

Decorating questions

Can't see your question here? Send us a message and we'll help.

Ask on WhatsApp
Can you work with furniture I already own?

Of course. Most good rooms mix new and existing pieces. We'll plan around what you love and suggest what to add, move or let go.

Do I have to do the whole house?

No. A single room, or even one wall, is a fine place to start. We're happy to start small.

Can you help with sourcing furniture and decor?

Yes. Once the plan is agreed we can help you find furniture, lighting, fabrics and accessories that fit the look and your budget.

Let's talk
